Global and Regional trends in the development of the Space Sector
What can Europe do to avoid falling behind the United States and China? Is the US an ally or competitor to Europe in space exploration? What actions are Poland and the EU taking to increase their competitiveness in the sector? Is the participation of a Polish astronaut in a space mission a breakthrough for the country? These and many other questions will be answered during the first substantive block of the Space & Security path. In a panel discussion, leading experts will present current space sector development strategies in Poland, Europe, and globally. They will explain the impact of new models of cooperation between science, governments, and businesses, the development of reusable technologies for orbital flights, and the integration of AI with satellite data analysis. • prof. Go-to-Market in Space – Where Does the Money Come From? Partnerships, Government Programs, and First Contracts
During this panel discussion, CEOs and representatives of leading space companies will answer the most important question for every entrepreneur looking to enter this market: is it profitable? The panel will focus on the key challenges facing every entrepreneur operating in the space sector or planning to enter this market. Participants will learn how to create a product that will find buyers, how to acquire the first customer – whether it be a public institution, a large company, or perhaps another startup? – and what strategies help sustain a business in the early years of its operation. Practitioners who have successfully entered the industry and built a strong position will discuss these topics. We will also discuss the role of VC funds, ESA and EUSPA grants and programs, incubators, accelerators, and what the largest revenue sources in the space industry are currently and will be in the future. Program: 11:40 | Presentation: The Real Revenues of the Space Economy: Where Trends and Applications of Space Infrastructure Meet the Commercial Sector - dr Emma Gatti, AGH 12:00 | Discussion panel • Łukasz Wilczyński, CEO European Space Foundation • prof. Defense Innovations
The session will be led by experts from the defense sector. They will discuss new approaches to defense innovation in NATO countries and new technologies for the Polish Army. The defense and security sector creates an ecosystem of advanced technologies of strategic importance for Europe. Therefore, we will also discuss dual-use technologies, which can be used for both military and civilian purposes. Among other things, we will learn about support instruments and programs for technology companies seeking to develop in the dual-use sector. This substantive block is a powerful dose of specific knowledge from outstanding experts, which may prove crucial for entrepreneurs and specialists interested in the defense and dual-use sectors. Agenda: 14:00 | A new approach to defense innovation in NATO countries - Szymon Struszyński, Fort Kraków, AGH 14:30 | New technologies for defense in the service of the Polish Army - płk rez. If we are allowed to know – Wikipedia as a common good
and why it is important for it to remain so
ICE Kraków - level 3 (workshop room)
Time: 11:20
During the presentation, we will discuss Wikipedia, which is created by the community of Polish Wikipedians – individuals who have taken on the daunting task of gathering, documenting, and disseminating the sum of human knowledge over the last quarter of a century.
The first part of the presentation will focus on the environment of individuals who create Wikipedia and its sister projects (such as Wikimedia Commons, Wikidata, and Wikisource), the values shared by this community, and the consensually developed system of collaboration. We will show how Wikipedia works in practice.
In the second part, we will focus on current issues – we will consider what Wikipedia offers in today’s world and why it remains a bastion of freedom and a space for unconventional meetings in a polarized society.

Biennale of Art and Technology of the Future – e-POLIS
– Kraków the city of the future. MAPPING.
ICE Kraków - level 0
Where am I? Where are you? Where is Dawid? Does being still include the components of place and time?
The exhibition opening the biennale presented at ICE as part of the TECH–ON! Conference Kraków & Małopolska Region 2025 consists of two dialoguing works: MetaSpace - a large-scale projection with elements of shadow theatre, designed by Alek Janicki and DAWID 3 - an interactive installation on VR goggles by engineer artist Maciek Bernaś.
Dawid 3 and the MetaSpace projection are installations that interact with one another, commencing the II edition of the Biennale of Art and Future Technologies – e-POLIS – Kraków, the city of the future. In this MAPPING.
This time, the Biennale has a dispersed character. In various places around Kraków, often in unobvious locations, we invite you to actively participate in the process of mapping the city in search of special places: places where the future is born.
The trail begins with a large-scale projection zone by artist Alek Janicki, which constitutes a video image into which the audience of the second work: DAWID 3 by engineer artist Maciek Bernaś enters.
In the space of ICE - the hall behind the milky glass, viewers become actors / active participants in the installation in two dimensions: real and virtual, in which the reality of being here and now dialogues with the virtual area where our physical presence meets the realm of the metaspaces of creation.
“An interactive installation on VR goggles, presenting a point cloud where the act of entering virtual space meets a hidden narrative. The material for creating the cloud consists of photos downloaded from Instagram showing the sculpture of Michal Angel David. Carrara marble is replaced by a cloud of points leading us to the unknown. This work is part of a series on the fragmentation of place, time, and actions surrounding our reality. With the help of photogrammetry, I create spatial clouds of points. New models of reality.” engineer artist Maciek Bernaś

AI + Human Summit | Panel AI + Human WellBeing
Design Pharmacy, 19A Kopernika Street
Time: 19:30
The AI + Human WellBeing panel is a space for everyone who believes that the future of technology should be built with a deep respect for humanity. It is a place where creative power meets responsibility, and innovation goes hand in hand with care for well-being.
For the future is not just a matter of what we can build – but above all, who we want to remain.
In the AI + Human WellBeing panel, we will examine:
· How artificial intelligence affects our mental and physical health
· How can we consciously use technology, caring for balance and well-being
· What are the real consequences of digitization for our brains and interpersonal relationships
· How to build a future where AI supports humanity, rather than burning it out

"Generative Cinematography - a filmmaker in the age of AI"
FILM CLUB
HEVRE, Meiselsa Street 18 | free entry
Time: 18:00
This is a series of meetings aimed at integrating the film industry in Krakow. Each event consists of two official parts. The first is dedicated to the entire industry, particularly for those with professional experience, in the form of a practical lecture. The lecture is intended to focus on issues or novelties relevant to our local, Krakow context. The second part, aimed at those starting their adventure in the professional film world, takes the form of workshops. Once a month, we present an opportunity for participants to take on a challenge in the form of filming a short piece on a given topic, to discuss the results of this work and provide constructive feedback at the next meeting. After the "official" points, we have time for networking.
As part of the upcoming meeting on 30.10, the topic of the lecture will be "Generative Cinematography - the filmmaker in the age of AI", which will be conducted by Patryk Jordanowicz.
